1/5 Stars – Disappointing lack of basic ingredient knowledge & safety awareness

I had a negative experience here due to the staff's complete lack of knowledge regarding their own products. I asked the employee what type of oil was used in a product, specifically wanting to know the carrier/base oil, and she had no idea. She made it very clear that she didn't know what oils were used in the product I wanted.

Many people have severe allergies or sensitive skin and need to know exactly what they are putting on their body. For a shop specializing in body oils, not knowing the fundamental ingredients or base oils is suspicious and unsafe. I looked up the owner of the Oil Bar on LinkedIn and was impressed with his resume. Hopefully, the owner will see this review and implement employee training, customer service, and knowledge of all the products. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Got it in the Parfum de Marly and Born in Roma and love both. Very easy to carry in my purse from a quick touch up (but not needed)
